老虎伍滋昨晚在Arnold Palmer邀請賽，在第三回合落後領先的Sean O'Hair５桿的第２名情形下，憑著獲勝的強烈企圖心，１４洞球雖陷入深沙坑神奇救par，１５洞及１８洞神奇birdie神奇拿下第6次此項比賽冠軍，及自己生涯第66個美國pga的冠軍，離Nicklaus的生涯73冠及Sam sneed的生涯82冠又近一步。
世界排名原因膝傷手術停賽一年，復出後第一場WGC - Accenture Match Play 比洞賽在第二場就被南非Tim Clack幹掉，復出後第二場WGC-CA Championship 也只並列第９，被封王的Phil Mickelson世界排名分數追到只剩0.2分。如果本週沒有奪冠，世界第一寶座勢必換人，幸好本週傷後復出第三站再次奪冠，將領先差距再次擴大為1.58分，本週是老虎伍滋第541週世界排名第一（第二位的GREG NORMAN 曾經世界第一達331 weeks之久)
Tiger Woods completed his comeback from knee surgery by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational in dramatic fashion at the final hole at Bay Hill. Woods landed the 66th PGA Tour title of his career and his sixth victory at Bay Hill. The World Number One and defending champion started the day in second place, five shots behind overnight leader Sean O'Hair. The pair were level after 71 holes with Woods securing the title with a 16 foot birdie putt. Woods stretches his lead over World Number Two Phil Mickelson to 1.58 average points.
